Where should my overworked mother on vacation?!?
I would like my mother, my sister and I, short, stay overnight in some part within a few hours drive from where we live (NYC) – a quiet, peaceful, country-like, perhaps in the PA, NJ or CT. I want to be able to relax, take a good look, but the site also should be near a city or have a bar somewhere nearby. I also love to be able to get a massage / manicure / pedicure whatever, but preferably in a local salon … hotel spas are waaaaaay expensive! Any suggestions?? Thanks!
