Hi all Im going to New York on the morning of waiting Ireland.Can t 'What I recommended as the first things to do in terms of orientation and "find their feet" so to speak? Also someone has been in this hotel recently? Thanks Regards John

The first is to locate the 79th subway station. to be your friend. metro station must contain a map of the neighborhood as well as subway and bus maps. then walk to 80th St and get some snacks and food from Zabar's market. and then walk 81st to eighth and into the Barnes & Noble, walk right into the magazine section and pick "timeout ny magazine," and the magazine "New York "to see a list of things to do in New York, including free stuff. Then walk to the rear (first floor) to New York City travel section and navigate through all the tourist guides of the city of New York.
